UTEC Managers Successfully Complete Developing Resilience Programme with Praesidio and Polaris Learning

UTEC recently participated in a two-day Developing Resilience programme with Praesidio and Polaris Learning. The programme aimed to complement UTEC’s current leadership programme and was attended by a team of managers.

Developing Resilience is an intensive programme that requires participants to develop the ability to stay in control of their emotions in complex and demanding situations. It takes into account human factors and helps managers build resilience and decision-making skills to cope with the unpredictability of their roles and take decisive action under pressure.

To achieve this, the programme aimed to help managers cope with the unpredictability of their roles and take decisive action under pressure. Firstly, it focused on developing their ability to cope with the unplanned. For instance, the scenarios presented helped managers understand how different team members would react to unplanned events. Secondly, it aimed to support each other when faced with challenges. In this regard, the programme provided a decision-making model to use in such situations.

Participants praised the programme for providing them with a clear understanding of how they could support each other in dealing with unexpected events. Specifically, they appreciated the decision-making model that the programme provided. This model helped them to make quick and informed decisions when faced with complex and demanding situations.

Completing the Developing Resilience programme is a testament to UTEC’s recognition of its effectiveness in helping managers cope with the unpredictability of their roles. Furthermore, building resilience and decision-making skills benefits not only the managers but also the company and its clients.
