Interested in a Modern Apprenticeship?

Modern Apprenticeships in Scotland mix industry recognised qualifications with on the job training to give you the skills that you need in everything from production and operations to more technical and commercial areas.

Modern Apprenticeships include a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ).

Not only are they nationally recognised, but they are also government-backed, work-based training programmes which are specifically tailored to meet the skill needs of employers.

Why you Should do a Modern Apprenticeship

There are many benefits to doing a Modern Apprenticeship:

  • You receive funded professional training
  • Training is on-the-job
  • You do not need previous education
  • You learn at your own pace
  • You still earn a wage whilst you learn
  • You gain a recognised qualification (SVQ)
