Leadership and Management Excellence

ILM Recognised

Description

The Leadership & Management Excellence programme is a 24-hour initiative designed to address the learning and development needs of managers at different stages of their careers. With a core set of workshops tailored to organisational requirements, the programme offers flexibility while being recognised by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). It also includes work-based assignments to ensure practical application of the learning, helping managers implement their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Our workshops focus on the essential skills and knowledge required for effective leadership and management. They can be customised to address specific development needs, incorporating your organisation's processes in areas like performance management, financial acumen and business strategy.

The online programme includes five online modules supported by a dedicated Polaris Learning consultant. Learners receive personalised feedback as they progress and participate in live or on-demand webinars.

This programme provides flexible content and delivery methods tailored to meet your team’s development needs. It balances learning with the realities of a manager’s busy schedule, focusing on critical topics to drive career success. By linking practical application to formal learning, managers can prioritise their development and create tangible changes in the workplace. Additionally, the programme’s ILM recognition ensures it meets the highest learning standards, equipping managers with the tools and strategies for long-term success.

Assessment

We have flexibility to meet your needs while maintaining the ILM Recognised standard, and post workshops, we provide a work-based assignment to help the managers apply what they have learnt in the workplace.

Learners complete four practical assignments which have been designed to bridge the gap between their formal learning and what they do back in their workplace. The assignments take around six to eight hours to complete and learners have three months in which to complete these. They are supported by their Polaris Learning consultant during this important stage of the learning process.
