Description

This qualification is designed for directors or chief executives, providing them with skills and competencies needed to lead organisations effectively. It is ideal for those already in senior management roles with significant responsibility for strategic decision-making and resource management.

We offer this qualification through our online and blended learning portal PLUS with support from a trainer and assessor. You will have the opportunity to complete online learning, you will be sign-posted to other online resources to research and you will be asked to complete work-based activities which will help you apply what you are learning to your role and your organisation.

These activities will also contribute to the evidence that you need to gather for your qualification. The combination of learning and activities will help you build your knowledge, skills, tool set and methodologies, giving you resources that you can call on as you progress in your management career.

Online Learning Modules

Your online learning and activities will help you work towards the 4 mandatory units and the 3 optional units.

Self Development and Coaching Others

This module covers gathering and analysing feedback, personal development aligned to learning styles, conducting a personal SWOT analysis, setting SMART objectives, coaching others, applying key coaching skills within teams, and aligning coaching practices with company and team objectives.

Performance Management

This module explores the difference between daily performance management and formal reviews, the leader’s role in both, conducting effective performance reviews, and mastering effective delegation.

Effective Manager

This module focuses on purposeful communication, the role of trust in leadership and its impact on individuals and teams, setting objectives and linking them to roles and responsibilities, and effectively managing conflict and challenges.

Operational Manager

This module examines the manager’s role in team health and safety, communication tools and responsibilities, applying PDCA to health and safety, and strategic versus operational planning, including risks, methods, and tools.
